On Tuesday, January 20, PFund Foundation will convene agency staff from health organizations serving LGBT communities to engage in discussion around issues of tobacco use and other health issues in LGBT communities. Funded by TLC, PFund will collaborate with Marnita's table (www.marnitastable.org), a non-profit that ignites enduring cross-cultural connections through intentional social interaction, to convene these agencies and engage in productive conversation. The purpose of the convening will be to identify/discuss key health issues that LGBT communities face around tobacco use and other health disparities, build relationships among the agencies and leaders, share resources and promote collaboration making the organizations more efficient at creating healthier LGBT communities.
